The Local Scene Showcase is a video highlight local gamedev scenes all around the world. I believe local scenes are crucial to fostering independent art in every medium, especially providing support to creators who lack the resources (financial or social) to reach any audience at all.
There was no format for the showcase videos but participants were encouraged to focus on highlighting the activities and communities of their scene show this showcase would be about the people involved and not just another collection of video game footage. My hope is that, even in a small way, this video encourages to seek out, form, or even expand their own local gamedev scene.
